The kids also carved their pumpkins or in his case... colored pumpkins.

I took the kids to the pumpkin patch yesterday and they had a great time! I have a few photos to share but... I'm too busy! I still have some family sessions to finish proofing, so pumpkins are going to have to wait. Until then...

O.k. I know that I've already posted this family's sneak peek. BUT I was working on getting their proofs ready over the weekend and I found another one that I really wanted to share.

I think I kind of go through phases as to what I'm into with photography. So I'm liking this hand holding shot. And I think this one looks really good with the faded colors effect.


Now this is the one I wanted to share. I'm really into having the kids the focus of the portrait but yet still having Mom and Dad in there too, just blurred in the background. So I'm always trying to think of different ways to do the same thing. :) Makes sense.
Anyway, so this family was standing on a fallen tree and I was below them. I LOVE it.

My monsters

...also known as my kids. The two oldest went to a party on Saturday night so of course I had to bring out the camera. I don't think they minded.













And I also did some photos of my baby on Saturday. She was in need of her 18 month portraits, even if she is now 19 months. This first one isn't focused very well but I just liked it.

Wave your hands in the air. And wave 'em like you just don't care. Oh yeah.

It's always a good idea to let her eat a snack while I'm trying to get photos.

Oh well.

I love..

... my job! I LOVE taking pictures and I love that all these beautiful people keep getting in front of my camera. These girls are the latest and aren't they gorgeous.

This family is friends of mine, so I have been lucky enough to photograph them a few times.

Wait a minute. Are babies allowed to be this stinkin' cute?!

Busy weekend

Tonight starts a week of daily sneak peek blog posts. Today I did 6, that's right, SIX family sessions. A long day, but definitely fun. I really do love being a photographer.

I wish all my sessions were as easy as this one. This is the "H" family and their little girls are so cute! Big sister has lots of personality and had a lot of pose ideas.

This pose was her idea, too cute.

Gorgeous blue eyes, right?!

And this is baby sister and she was so sweet, only 11 weeks old. She was "comfortable" when we got started with our session.

Then she woke up to show me that she had gorgeous blue eyes too!

I had to put this one up. She was smiling so sweetly at her mama, who was just off camera to the left and she looked over at me with this look! So funny.
