Winners

I have lots of cheerfest photos to share but here are just a few for now.

An impromptu team portrait outside of the restaurant :) The grass was muddy but the girls didn't complain too much.

They spotted me in the crowd while they were waiting for the judges to announce the results.

First Place goes to... Volcano Vista Hawks Freshman!

Posing for the crowd.

And all the girls posing outside for all the cameras! I'm surprised I got anything, I was totally shaking and even crying when they won 1st.

"Model" Family

Seriously can they be any more beautiful?

I have just barely gotten started going through the photos from their session and I already can't decide which ones I like best.

And of course, the kids are just as good looking as Mom and Dad.

Thanks for asking me to do your portraits, I was honored. I hope you like your sneak peek. :)

Girl's Life

Saturday was all about getting the girls ready for Sunday's Cheerfest. After practicing during the boys game, they all met up at the mall for hair - dos.

Then we headed over to get some dinner...

Followed by decorating all the cars that would be transporting girls to the competition.

Fun but LONG day. I'll post more about Cheerfest later. :) Enjoy.

The girls got...

1st Place AND the "Stunting Award"! Good job girls.

Of course I have a TON of pictures but I'll have to post those later. I'm exhausted!

Baby Announcement

Hadley's announcement photos have been chosen so I can finally post some of my favorites without spoiling the announcement. After those are ordered and sent out, I'll post that so all my readers can see those too! :)
I love this one. It was the only one I took like this because she pooped on my backdrop! Mo says it looks like she's floating in space.

Yum!

The cute new family. Doesn't Hadley look so comfortable?

Hadley in my new cocoon, love it!

Yum! Yum!

The new Mommy.

The new Daddy.

Yummy!

The royal baby. Thanks Mo and Jeff for buying that couch for me to use as a prop, it looks great! :)

Awww

The sweet life.

"Hanging" out with Mom.

I love this one.

Too funny!

There's the popeye look again. She wasn't in the mood to curl up for me. Poor Daddy was a little nervous about this one.

Lady Hawks

I haven't gotten a chance to post about our girls. They have been working hard and cheering on the boys. This weekend it will be our turn to cheer for them.

On Sunday they have Cheerfest (a cheerleading competition) and we wish them luck!

The boys aren't practicing tonight, but the girls will be there working hard to get their routine perfect.

All the girls show up every week to cheer for the boys so.... on Sunday ALL the boys will be there to cheer on the girls. There will also be LOTS of family in the stands cheering on the girls as well. Posters are already in the works.

Good Luck girls, I know you'll do great!

The Usual...

... with a birthday. Even though it was my son's birthday we still had other obligations so he just had to hang out until we could celebrate.
My oldest son had another football game. He loves football and has fun doing it but it was very discouraging because they don't let him play very much. I hope he doesn't lose the desire to want to play as a result of that.

Here he is blocking. He's always excited to tell me about it when he's given the chance to do something.

Here he is coming off the field, done for the day. Why do we spend so much time and money on this? Because he loves it and has fun despite not be given the chance to improve his game play.

Anyway...

Here's the birthday boy. Enjoying his birthday at the park next to the field.

And of course, the baby... who is quickly becoming not the baby. Sniffle Sniffle.

And then trapped again in the stroller while we watch all the other boys play football.
