Christmas Newborn (Albuquerque Newborn Photographer)
A few more of baby "K". Her gallery is almost ready. I'm trying to get it done before Christmas but I can only work on it when my kids are busy with other things, so we'll see if I can get it done. :)
This first one is my fave from her session, it has a seventies action on it. If this were my baby I think I would have to make a HUGE canvas of it. Love this one!

This is another fave. Love that face.

She's got a little smile going on in this first Christmas-y one. Too cute.

Mom had seen this pose and wanted to try it. "K" was so good, she let us do pretty much whatever we wanted.

Have a great Christmas!

Obsession (Albuquerque Newborn Twins Photographer)
So there's a trend in newborn photography... naked babies wearing only a hat on their heads. The hats are so fun and creative and different. I have developed an obsession with finding (and buying) the cutest hats. I bought a handful in the last couple of months and then when I went to San Fransisco, I came home with 6 more different hats. I think I need help.
I have a few clients expecting babies this month and next month, so I hope they're prepared for me to play hat dress up with their new babies!
The featured babies in this post are twins, "A" and "J". The Santa hats and the ladybug were their own... I LOVE it when newborn clients have their own hats as well! So fun. Anyway, the ladybug hat and pastel hat were made by the twins grandmother. Wish I was that talented!

Handmade (Albuquerque Childrens Photographer)
I'm working on editing the wedding photos but I have to take a break from that to share some handmade goodies.
First is the gorgeous newborn hats made by my friend, Kristina. I love them so much, thank you Kristina. I can't wait to get a newborn to try these out on. Unfortunately I don't have a newborn on the books for a few weeks. :( I guess I'll have to be patient.

Next up, are the outfits that I made for Kristina's daughter, Bethany's daughter and my own little stinker. Bethany has been admiring these styles online and I told her we should just make them ourselves. So we went to Hip Stitch in Albuquerque and found beautiful fabrics. We really had a hard time choosing. While we were there we found out that Hip Stitch is owned by 3 moms just trying to run a successful business in something they love... hey that sounds familiar, right Bethany. So i f you're in the need of fabric, go check them out.

Pettiskirt (Albuquerque Childrens Photographer)
I bought an awesome pettiskirt from Kristine and she did an amazing job! I have been wanting to get out and get some photos of my daughter in her new skirt but have been really busy.... so when my hubby asked me to meet him, I realized it was very close to a location that I needed to scout out for a client. So I told her to grab her skirt and let's go! :)
